About the Authors
Ryan States is the editor and webmaster of And How. He is a thirty year old aspiring writer/actor/filmmaker in Edmonton, Alberta. He contributed the editorial, was one of the creators of Project Sweater Vest, and compiled this damned thing, while doing voice performance, and assorted tasks..

He is stll at work on his first novel, and a screenplay entitled Jesus Christ, Superfly.

Gayleen Froese is an associate editor of And How. She is an aspiring novelist, a talented independent musician with two albums living in Edmonton, Alberta. In this issue she wrote Snakey. She was co-creator of Project Sweater Vest., and also helped with assorted tasks.

She is currently seeking a publisher for her first novel, Touch, working on her second, and completing her third album.

Brian Cotts is a chronically unpublished writer living in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in English, and at work on various projects. His regular and ongoing series of essays 30 are a regular column here, and are also available, with more of his writing on COTTSWEB

The editor of And How once described Brian's fictional world as "a place where a passerby could see one person cutting off another person's hand with a hacksaw and cauterizing the wound with a blowtorch, and mistake that for flirting". We are very happy to have him on board.

Ed Wilson is a once and future independent comic publsiher, living in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. His short-lived company Vanguard Graphics was reponsible for getting popular DC comics artist Tom Grummett industry attention.
Ed wrote
Earth's Mightiest Champions Compare Notes.

Ed contributed Life of the Party to last issue, with the artistic assistance of Roger Williamson, who, we are ashamed to say, we have all lost touch with. Roger? if you see this drop us a line and say howdy.

Ed is currently working on the scripts for some war comics, in a sad attempt to recapture the joys and wonders of youth. Ed spent nearly four hundred dollars while in Edmonton recently in an attempt to find the issue of Tomahawk where the Hessians wore swastikas. His search was successful

We love Ed.

Rantgirl is tetchy. She's disappointed. She's fed up. And she's not interested in discussing anything she writes with you or your lawyer. Her column, Venom and Bile and Umbrage, Oh My, is a regular feature at And How!.

David Sklar is a published poet (just not recently) and a professional editor and drug pusher. He currently resides inEast Rutherford, New Jersey, much to his chagrin. In keeping with And How!'s policy against nepotism, David is prepared to deny any prior dealings with the editors unless he is offered immunity from prosecution. Large quantities of (non-Canadian) money may also suffice.

David is responsible for the Hot off the Wire news dipsatch for this issue, and will be a regular contributor.

Tom Cantine works and lives in Edmonton with his wife and son. he is the designer of Sunfall . a respected gaming system, and a repository of fascinating, albeit fictional, trivia. It also turns out Tom only has his Master's in Philosophy...so I had given him a battle field promotion. So sue me. But not him. Tom will be a regular contributor to And How!
Malkav Powermann is an Edmonton street performer who bills himself as "The World's Fattest Contortionist". He is an aspiring actor and comedian, and well known fixture of the Whyte Avenue busking scene. He contributed Waiting for Dildot to a past issue.

He is currently working on supplanting the editor-in-chief's very existence, and assuming his role in the world, poor schmuck. As you might guess, his Momma never named him no "Malkav Powermann".
